> I have purchased two of those lace pictures, The Vine and The Good Shepherd. The > technique is not difficult, mostly Torchon grounds, which Eeva-Liisa uses in very imaginative ways. But they are large. The Vine is almost 24" wide and 30" long. It requires mostly 70/3 Pella linen, but the leaves add 50/3 Pella linen workers to add definition to the central motif. The working drawing is right on the pricking itself. I find everything to be clearly marked. > I have made three of her pictures now, two in the linen suggested and one reduced so that I could make it in Pipers silk. They are as Patty said clearly marked, imaginative torchon. Give it a try - but only if you have a pillow big enough. That makes it much more fun to work, than trying to balance the bobbins on a pillow which is too small Sue [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
