Funnily enough, Noelene, I was looking at that pattern again only a few days
ago!   I do like it, and will get round to it one day......if only I live long
enough!

I don't think I ever told you, but a couple of months after I sent you the
corrected version of that pattern, I had an email from an English lace teacher
who's a friend of mine.  She attached a copy of the same pattern which she'd
corrected for one of her students - and again articulated the sort of grumbles
you and I had about mistakes in printed patterns.

The Bucks pattern I'm working on at present differs from both the working
diagram and the photograph of the worked piece - can only assume that the
pattern which was actually printed was a first draft which was amended when the
author discovered (just like I have!) that some of her gimp movements are
absolutely and completely impossible!!!
