I was hoping there would be books offered on the "Shop" site! But, there were only strangely-shaped crocheted bookmarks. Alas, instead of being shown on books, they were shown on a human body. (Think about it -- bookmarks in this configuration would make very nice bookmarks, and hold half the pages quite securely at the same time. What fun to use in a public place.) This is not the first mention of these lace creations on Arachne. Some will remember a very interesting travel report from Angela Thompson of her trip to Poland. Last year? Anyway, I seem to recall her friend Pauline purchased one of these "bookmarks" for The Lace Guild's museum collection. It amused me then, and amuses still. It's the sort of thing that might be tucked away on a remote shelf. Imagine what a curator will think these are - in 300 years!
