Angela went to Poland in 2002 with her friend Pauline Milnes. Angela bought a red thong, Pauline bought a blue and white one which she donated to the Lace Guild collection. This weekend's AGM included an exhibition of pieces from the collection on the theme of Parties, so there were weddings and other celebrations. Tucked away on the back of one of the exhibition boards, facing into a part of the hall away from all the tables, was the lingerie party collection. This included the thong that Pauline bought and several other pairs of lacy knickers, and one bra. So I got to see the thong this morning.
