Hallo,

I`m a silent reader of the lacelist.

I want to tell you my solution of the problem.

I`m from Germany and we can buy colored plastic that is matte. But it is
very expensive, the prize for one roll 30 cm to 70 cm is 4 - 5 Euro = 4,80 -
6
Dollar.

I tried to find a cheaper alternative and asked in many shops for matte
adhesive filmof the kind, we use for the school books of our kids. But no
chance, they sell only the shiny one.
So I bought the cheapest of this and make the surface matte by rubbing it
over with the rough side of a sponge (what is for cleaning pots after
cooking). I moved the sponge (German Brand name was Scotch Britt) in
diffenrent directions only with few pressure. It was done in few minutes.
So I can copy or draw my pricking on what color of paper I like most for the
color of yarn and than stick the matte film over it.
And the price was really low: 30 cm to 10 m (meter!) for 0,99 Euro = 1,20
Dollar. (I think 10 meters are enough for me for the next years ;-)))

Ursula
