When I finished the Seascape Buckspoint hankie I had quite a lot of thread on lots of bobbins. I designed a little rocking horse that started with a bundle of threads for the tail so I was able to use up the bobbins with even a small amount of thread on them. I am now on rocking horse number 4, two have blue gimps and two have pink. I am framing them nicely in frames from the dollar store and hope to sell them at a couple of craft fairs later this year. The projects aren't costing me much so I might see a profit although not as much as my time is really worth. Robin gave lots of answers about what to do with threads but if you are going to give it to the birds remember not to give them light colors as it makes their nests easier to see by preditors, and never metallic thread. I have put my white thread bits into my coffee to color them up. Janice
