Hi Spiders, I have a birthday approaching on the horizon, and am trying to decide between 2 possible purchases - on one of which I would love some Arachne input.
How useful is a specific light source/illuminator, especially at night? Do many of you use one? I attempt (vbg) needlelace, 95% of which is done in the evenings after the small people are abed. Is it best to get an illuminator with magnification? What are the pros & cons of a floor model vs table lamp? I have seen the OTT lights on the 'net - is something as flash as that really necessary? (The exchange rate makes it quite an investment). Should I hold out until I can afford a really $$$$ one? Thanks for any & all opinions!
