Hi!

I just finished a UFO!!! I put it on the home page of my website, with
close-ups on the "identification" page. http://www.loreleihalley.com . . .
It is the Perryman-Voysey raised Honiton leaf sampler, in white. . .
I enlarged the original pattern to 200% of its actual size and worked it in DMC
Retors
#30 with DMC Coton a Broder #16 as gimp. . .
The number of pairs worked out identical to the instructions given in the book.
So if anybody else wants to enlarge Honiton patterns, you now know exactly
what will work for a 200% enlargement.

Hi Lorelei,

Your work is beautiful. As I always say, there are no lace police. The
sampler sure looks like Honiton to me. Without something to scale it with, I
would be hard put to know that it is worked at a larger scale. I really
appreciate knowing that Honiton at 200% runs about size 30. There are a lot of
Honiton patterns that really call out for color (to me, anyway!). Up until now
I had pretty much figured that silk was my only way to do it, but now . . . ,
the wheels are turning in my head.
