I gave up on that and haunted the flea markets, asking people who sold
fans if they had any for sale with torn leaves, etc. I've picked up a
whole collection of fan sticks, very cheaply. Now I just have to
enlarge or reduce the prickings to fit. (I have to admit that most of
the flea markets were in England, but I did find a couple in Old
Montreal.)
(3) Are there reference publications that give instructions on how to
mount
the lace onto the fan sticks?
Christine Springett wrote a good pamphlet on the subject. Maybe one of
the North American suppliers carries it.
