Yes.

The French with some of the lace terms translated is:

braid/lace/trim)
- Étude des fonds. (study of grounds)
- Étude des points de remplissage. (study of fillings)
- Synthèse et approfondissement. (vague - perhaps 'applications' or
'composition and much else' - the last word means 'thoroughness' -
literally to deepen)

Evidently they  used a computer translator for the English text.
