Hi All, I am not too confident working in colours, but I am improving - I think ...
But - I well remember the first Flanders course I went on in Rugby, in England. I was suffering terribly from flu' but, I had paid, so was going to do it! I was working a little heart pattern and, when it came time to put in the gimp, I rummaged in my box of tricks, coming up with a ball of a very pretty pink gimp. Just what I thought would be perfect for a small heart... But - the tutor saw it, was absolutely aghast, and said in tones of horror "You're not using that, are you, Carol!" "Perish the thought!" I said, hurriedly returning the spool to its hiding place, and rummaging in my neighbour's box for white gimp! After that, and after some adverse comments from another teacher, of Bucks point mainly that time, I was extremely wary of using colour in anything! But, as I say, I am now experimenting more with colour, as one of my good friends is brilliant with matching/contrasting colours, and getting outstanding results, so I am learning from her, and am not so easily intimidated nowadays either! Carol - in a dry and bright, cold Suffolk UK. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
