I currently have a narrow edging on my travel pillow that I'm trying to grow after cutting 1.5 yards off for a friend's birthday present. I left myself about 8 inches on the pillow and it is about 18 inches now after a week of working on it. I like doing edgings, even when I have no project in mind to use them for. I am contemplating starting a wide edging in either 's Gravenmoer or Ipswich just for something more challenging to think about.
Two recent accomplishments - a bracelet in 's Gravenmoer and a Schneeberger swan. The swan has been on the pillow for over a year and even though I didn't need the pillow right now I set myself to finishing it. It's difficult to switch my hands from a point ground edging using 140 to a tape lace using tatting cotton! The bracelet I absolutely love. It's the one I started during our virtual lace day. I used wire for the outside edge gimp and it holds a nice shape while I'm wearing it. Hopefully one of these days I'll get a photo of it posted. Doing some travelling this weekend, so I need to grab a tatting project to take along. Probably another bookmark for my stash. I give them away as soon as I get them made! Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Diane Williams [EMAIL PROTECTED] Galena Illinois USA __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
