Hi Bev & Irene,
I'll be company too!! I'm also working on a garter. Mine is Bucks. There is
no deadline for me. It is to be put away for a Granddaughters' wedding
sometime in the distant future. 3 of them are still in High school.

I haven't measured but, it looks about 10 inches so far. It has been on the
back burner for awhile as I have been trying to finish a Honiton piece.

All for now,
Joan, in stormy Ontario

Hi Bev,

I'll be your company!!! I'm also working on a garter. Your patterns sounds
very similar to mine with the beading down the centre. I just measered mine

and I am at 33 centimetres. When do you need yours done by? My son's
wedding is August 26, but I want to get it done in plenty of time.

You've been making so many 12 inch (30 cm) pieces lately, I'm sure that's
why it seems slow. Remember to keep going once you reach 30 cm. (hehehehe)

These garters are beautiful, but a lot of work. Do we have anyone else
making a garter right now?
