I noticed that lace collar too, I think it is a piece of lace added to the
neckline of the jacket, rather than embroidery. It looked to me like a
piece of point lace, from what I could see on the news programme a couple of
days ago. But whether machine or hand made is impossible to say.
I found this from the Washington Post, a series of photos from the Queen
tour and amongst these photos are a few showing the jacket collar and cuffs
and the hat but obviously not clearly enought to see what sort of lace
exactly it is, but very like point ground I think.
