Dear Aurelia and Barbara!

When I read Barbara's note about "her" group ("before she was a member"), I
understood that she meant the group in Washington (state)! I am close enough
to Baltimore (I'm in the land of Lynchburg), that I can feel the glow of the
hospitality that is the hallmark of all things gracious in our fair and
adjoining states!! Maryland and Virginia are, in fact, both named after
Queens, and so our impeccable social skills have come to us by tradition, if
not by decree!!

We will never know the reason that a misguided person in Washington gave poor
Sher'ee such a negative put-down. I am confident that she does not represent
the feelings of others in her area. I am equally confident that she will never
- ever - admit that she was the offensive snob!!

So please, Miss Aurelia, don't fear that Barbara has inadvertently besmirched
the reputations of the Terra-Pins, the CRLG, or the state of Maryland!! We all
know much better than that.

But I think you have just pulled my leg...

Love,

Clay

In Lynchburg, Virginia where...
It's just miles away, but it takes HOURS to drive to Baltimore !!
