Hello Spiders!

I'm alive and well in Lynchburg, after the wonderful week at Sweet Briar!
Actually, I use the term, "well", loosely, because I've had a nasty summer cold
ever since I got home. But... the response from those who were there has
certainly helped me get past my temporary ailments and look forward to next
year!

I came across a fascinating picture on eBay just now! There is not much
information about it, but it shows a group of "American Prairie Women",
gathered around a table "quilting bee style", and all making lace!! Since
there is little in the way of history of lacemaking in the US, I thought
everyone would like to see it. Go to eBay, and enter this item number in the
search field: 180142776249
