I would compare this to any regular machine sewing thread. I used this thread in cream to make the lace for my wedding veil and the handkerchief that I carried (almost 22 years ago now!) It worked up beautifully. The only thing is that when I wash the hanky the lace tends to crinkle so I need to stretch it as I iron. Karen in Malta
