Hi Spiders and Happy New Year to all of you,
For several years now I have been working on my Torchon Chess Board.
I saw it in an old Lace Magazine (UK) and liked the idea. I did my
own designs and finally after about 9 years I think that I'm at the
end. I want to give it to my son as a birthday present because he is
a chess lover.
I have a clear idea of what to do with it after it is mounted but I
have no idea of how to mount all those 4cm squares. I ordered some
red felt as background but have no idea of how to secure the squares
to the felt. I can just leave them as they are since I intend to have
a glass over it but if the glass is being removed or brpoken then all
those small squares will start "wandering" around.
Please come up with some nice ideas for me to choose from.
