Some years ago I contacted the local newspaper about a lace event, hoping for publicity. A reporter came round to interview and take photos. The paper published a very nice article with photos AFTER the event, when it was too late for newcomers to attend. Publicity is difficult to manage, with pitfalls hidden around every corner!
