One of my pupils has difficulties (like me) with the terms "right" and
"left".
By accident i came up with "lift the underneath thread" & pass the gimp
through and this seems to have stuck in her mind so much more successfully.
Once started she is fine with the rest of the process. Lifting the
underneath thread guarantees that she is keeping the twist before the gimp.
I haven't yet succeeded in explaining how this is different if you want two
gimps to lie in the same space, but lets tackle one new process at a time!
