What a great find! I am fairly certain, however, that the laces are machine-made. The "cloth stitch" areas are not truly CTC, but a bunch of overlapping parallel rows of zig-zags, typical of modern machine laces. The long, thin tallies are machine-able; it's the leaves with tapered ends that machines have trouble with. And the thread paths for the "spiders" are not like proper spiders.
