That's what gave me the idea of using hat pins with spangled bobbins. I was making a Beds pattern with 350 bobbins. I tried Clay's favourite system but it didn't seem to work with the spangles. So I tried using hat pins and loved it - and I can fit 8 - 12 pairs on a pin.
