Continuing from starting and finishing As far as I am concerned we all make lace for the love of it. I consider a piece of lace to be good if it looks good and is made so that it is suitable for its purpose. If carefully done the odd fudge/wangle will not show - so why worry. This is why I love making Floral Bucks - you can get away with murdering the threads. Instead of fudging or wangling I prefer to call it 'using your initiative' - it sounds so much better.
