Hi Everyone,
I'm mainly a lurker with an occasional post. I joined in late 1996, I
found Arachne after Jacqui Southworth's article 'internetting' in Lace
84, October 1996. At the time I was on a Compuserve newsgroup which was
mostly needlework with little lace so was delighted to find a list
wholly devoted to lace. I had been making lace only for about 6 months.
Can't find the exact date of joining now as I lost all the old saved
messages when I had to change email programs when we moved to Poole mid
2007.
What have I been doing? Just did a two day bout of demonstrating
laceamking at a craft fair at Upton House, Poole over the Easter
week-end with others from the Poole Bobbin Lace Circle and now have to
prepare for a mounting lace workshop I'm going to on Saturday.
