Ouch. The best-received bridal gift I've ever made was Lenka Suchanek's "Flower Girl", in wire. I had -- but didn't use -- the kit. Instead, I reduced the pattern, changed it a bit (for single strand of 32wire), used the colours which I knew would be used in the wedding and told her it was a Christmas ornament, "the better to remember the year by". She opened the box and went around the entire wedding party, bragging about it, so I knew she liked and appreciated it.
