I think that the favorite pattern that I have worked is probably "De
Beeste" which is in "Syllalbus Binche III" by Anne-Marie
Berbeke-Billiet. It was challenging, but delightful to work, and the
result is very pleasing. The most challenging piece I've worked is
probably a reconstruction by Michael Giusiana which is, as yet,
unpublished. I was proofing the pattern as I worked it. It had the
most tallys of any piece I've ever worked, and there were some difficult
sections that took some pre-planning. This pattern was given to
everyone who attended "Lace at Sweet Briar" this year. And both of
these pieces are in my file on the Arachne Webshots page.
As you can probably guess, my favorite type of lace is Binche. I have a
lovely Floral Binche piece on my pillow, but I'm afraid it isn't my
favorite piece. I'd love to finish it, but when I sit down to it, I get
bored fairly soon, and so am not spending the time with it that I need
to in order to finish. It isn't an easy piece by any stretch of the
imagination, so I don't know why this hasn't hooked me like the other
pieces do...
Meanwhile, I worked on Tonder lace at Sweet Briar this summer, and am in
love again with this lace! I plan to take a workshop in Bucks from Alex
Stillwell next month, so the PG laces are calling me!

Since it is very quiet on the list at the moment, I'm going to throw a
question in....
What is your favourite lace pattern out of the ones you have worked,
(whether your own design or one that has been published) and which
pattern/type of lace have you found most challenging?
