For me 1 and the same - My Barbara Underwood workshop piece! I have only been making lace for 2 1/2 years and had only been doing Torchon until just prior to Barbara's visit. I started working through her book, but only made it to lesson 6 before the workshop - where skill level of lesson 20 was minimum requirement! The piece was a real challenge, but the result is - to my mind - gorgeous! I know in a few more years time, there will be many others and I will look back and say - get real, look at all the mistakes! But I think I will always love that piece! What is your favourite lace pattern out of the ones you have worked, (whether your own design or one that has been published) and which pattern/type of lace have you found most challenging? -- Jane Partridge - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
