Clay Blackwell was kind enough to tell me about the arachne2003 webshots location. Well, I uploaded it successfully. It is in the folder Lyn Bailey. Problem is, this file on webshots is much smaller than the one I was sent. Using my own picture program on my computer, I can make this picture of the shawl much, much larger. Now, while it is true that way before you get to individual pixels you lose the detail, I can magnify the picture much more finely on my computer than on the webshots site. It is the detail that is necessary.
(Now if we were only like those crime scene investigation shows on TV, where you can enlarge the picture and then it magically resolves itself so you can see the detail microscopically, one thread on top of the other.) So, it's there, but I'm not sure it will advance the discussion any.
