I've watched a few episodes of "Nothing to Declare" about the work of Australian customs officers, and how they clamp down really hard on taking certain things into the country, one of them being items made of wood. Presumably it applies to bone as well - or perhaps not. Does that mean you can't take wooden lace bobbins and have to have plastic ones if you take your lace equipment there when visiting?
