Oops--Forgot to mention some possible solutions to the rough spots on hands!
EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) & sugar, equal measure in a small saucer, say 1
tsp of each. Massage well into affected areas, wash with mild soap & dry
thoroughly. Tiny bottles of EVOO are available for about $1US so I often just
pack a new one each time I travel a distance--factory sealed & no leaks. Sugar
is readily available at the event venue in small packets. If you are concerned
that there may be some remaining oil residue that is not washed away, there is
a commercial product by Mary Kay cosmetics called Satin Hands Buffing Cream.
Use it 1st, then wash off using MK gel nettoyant. You can also use tiny emery
discs available at the beauty supply shop. They are really light duty nail
files but they work great on rough skin, especially the corner of the nail
where it meets the pad on the tip of your finger. Follow with Sew Soft lotion.
Usual disclaimers, no connection, satisfied customer.
   Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Erie, PA
