Well, I wonder about that! If she had done so much, she should have known that things take a lot of time to finish, and therefore should have been even more aware of the fine work you were doing on the pillow. That makes the whole thing even Worse, to my mind. If she never did any handcrafts, then perhaps there was an excuse for fiddling with the pretty bobbins, - but if she was as knowledgeable as the lady with her said, - then even more reason that she should have known better.
