Hi Regina The pattern comes from 'Motieven in Kleur' by Sebastiana Van Den Herik, (pictured on the front cover of the book) and I have used the same design for all the trees including the 'winter' one - I did try to draw a more wintery shape but decided they would look better all the same. I have also made 'the sailing ship' and the 'hat' from this book, nice lace to make :-) Celia x
