David, I have this book, although I have no intention of knitting it. I like
making lace better, even though at heart I am a knitter first. I have made
Jean Greenhowe's Nativity creche 2+ times, so I am familiar with making knitted
figures. The likelihood is that the actual knitting isn't that difficult. But
sewing together all the little pieces requires much intestinal fortitude. It's
just plain tedious. But you do end up with a wonderful set. I got the book
because I love that sort of thing, at least to look at, and it can be used with
very little imagination for any wedding couple.

Lyn in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, US, where we celebrated Mother's Day a week
early and went to Longwood Gardens. It sprinkled rain on the way home, but on
the whole cool but pleasant.
