wow!  Now that's self-sufficiency!

I've made my own cookie pillow with a
table-top from Home Depot and stuffed
with a dense thick mat for under tile
flooring. It's still one of my favorite 
pillows because of how well the pins
hold and how no pin holes "persist".

What else do lace-makers make to
support
our lace habit, and do you 
have any tips for the rest of us?
