What kind of lace is it? I have an antique shawl made of this kind of lace that was labeled Milanese when I bought it. However, I knew even then that it wasn't Milanese, but I've been puzzling ever since on exactly what it's proper name is. It looks to me to be more in the family of Beds-Maltese-Cluny but doesn't quite fit the stereotype description of any of these. Does anyone have an idea about it? Both the files above have lots of lovely lace to look at, and creates a few wishes to have some of the patterns. Thanks for giving us the addresses. Alice in Oregon .. where the sun is starting to show up every four or five days and spring trees are in bloom. - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
