Hello all,
Speaking of lurkers...
I am usually a lurker excepting those few times I think I can contribute
to the list. There are not so many because of language (this there has been
talking yet) and because the expertise of the members are just wider than
mine.
I am member of Arachne since year 1999 or 2000 , I do not remember exactly
now if it was Janice Blair who made a spider that shared with the list with a
sign of @.
This put my mind to think about designing something in Witchstitch lace (
also called Hinojosa lace) I shared it with the list and this was the result:

Tamara, you were speaking of this design, not from Lenka .In fact I do not
remember Lenka's.
Regards .

a logo for us -- a drawing of an @ sign, with a spider in its center, to be
made in lace of one's choice. This being during the time when my lacemaking
mind was still working fine, I made a pricking using that drawing as my basis,
and made a lace piece (kinda-sorta Milanese) on the pricking. Since the
pricking is mine, not Lenka's, I don't think there could be any copyright
objection to my sharing it with everyone who'd like to use it.

else would have to do the uploading. All I'm able to do is e-mail the pricking
(and not today, either; it has to be clear-copied. These days, it's a major
project, requiring lots of concentration, and therefore slow) and the photo to
someone willing to do the posting. There's no way I'd be able to learn how to
upload to Flicker or wherever we're posting.

nice to have a unifying logo. Who will come up with this logo? And if there
is more than one suggestion, how will it be chosen, or will we again have a
choice. With all the creative talent on this list, I am sure there are
several more than capable of the job. Evidently there were other logos for
Arachne on anniversaries past. Could someone take a picture of what there was
and post it?
