I do realize that 'reply to all' would reply to both the poster as well as
the list, but.....that is not an automatic reaction, when you are used to
just hitting reply. Not only that, some email programs are not set up to
reply to all. I have yet to find that option in Thunderbird, though it is
obvious in Outlook. Thunderbird has just reply, forward or archive....uh, I
guess I just found it in Thunderbird, it is in the drop down list of the
message menu, not very obvious....

Another thing with having to reply to all is that the poster then ends up
with getting the message twice, which would be a nuisance to those who are
still on dial up internet, or if you use you cell phone or tablet to read
emails, data packages are not cheap, at least not in this country, I can't
afford a cell phone, let alone one with a data package.

I know of only one other list that is set to reply to sender and not to
list, and that is another list I never post on, too much of a nuisance. Not
only that, I don't want to get into the habit of hitting 'reply to all', too
many serious problems have been caused by habits like that J

Anyway, it is something to think about when you want more people
posting.....

Hello Marianne and everyone

If you hit 'reply-all' in your message window options, your reply will go to
the person who wrote as well as to the lace list itself :)

I hope you do put together a lace pillow to take when going out, and let us
know how that works out! For sure, information cards to give away is a good
idea.

Happy New Year, happy lacing, in 2014
