I bought some linen thread from a deceased estate. The lady learnt lacemaking in Belgium in the early 1980's. The thread is wound in skeins and there is no label of course.
The skein is tied in ten separate little bundles with red thread. I would like to know if the number of bundles is any indication to the thickness of the thread?
