In today's mail I received a lovely bookmark from Lorri Ferguson in Washington state. The lace, a scalloped edging is beautifully done and mounted on a fabric ribbon. I'd not seen that before and just love it. It sturdies it up and makes It practically usable as a bookmark. Also included was some history about where the pattern came from, which I really appreciate. It being Scottish is so fitting, as I have a bit 'o the Scots in me.
