âTis the season for lace bridal garters and a fellow lace maker had been working on one for a several months. In this case the lace maker wasnât sure about the circumference needed to go around the brideâs leg. So she made plenty of lace to allow for any size changes, the problem came with assembly. The lace was attached to one edge of a ribbon casing with elastic running through the casing. Has anyone any suggestions for a neat non bulky finish which allows for last minute adjustment on the wedding day? Sharon on Vancouver Island
