It is 6 days since I received a digest.  Is everyone busy making lace?  I have been making lace ornaments for my knitting group for a Christmas gift.  Six done, 6 more to go.  My Arachne exchanges are ready, just need to work out how I am going to mount them this year. Saturday we have a craft fair and my knitting group are having a stall.  I have at least a dozen pairs of bobbin lace and tatted earrings to sell.  The money goes into our kitty for purchasing new yarn for the items we make for seven local charities, and the occasional birthday cake. I received my Lace 172 magazine this week and there are lots of articles and patterns for poppies.  I was delighted to see a photo of a poppy from our Susan Hottle of a poppy she adapted from the beginner pattern on my website.  Still time to make one for Remembrance Day.
