Vadstena is northeast of Gothenburg and is a lovely medieval town in addition
to the center for the national Swedish bobbin lace organization, the Svenska
Spetstar. The shop of Else Peterson was on the same street at the east end. I
do not know if it is still there since Ms. Peterson died a few years ago. In
2004 there was a small lace museum north of Stockholm near the coast on our way
to visit our son in Umea. I do not remember the name or the name of the town,
but it was a very good one.
