The underground must be worked first, as a ribbon in linen- and cloth-stitch. The the crossing/passage to the first candle is done with braids and twists/false braids. Work the first half of the candle with three pairs and the tally with the two other pairs. Those bring back on the tally to the candle. The second part of the candle is a linen stitch ribbon. Work the passage to the other candle with braids and twists/false braids. All candles are worked in the same kind.
