Jason, >From the looks of things you want to make your RSS feed update your stream. Twitter doesn't have this facility, but some people have written clients which will do that for them.
An example of this is a service you've already said you use, twitterfeed. Twitterfeed's front page says it will "post directly to twitter, identi.ca, custom laconica installations". It might be possible to get this feature added to Laconica, but to do that, your best bet would be first to raise a ticket on http://laconi.ca/trac/, detailing exactly what you want. In all honesty though, I think using a third party service right now would be better, or write one yourself.
