Alas, this error is indeed common in Tamil. In the four previous rule
patterns I created -- i.e. rules "Ends_in_A_1 to "Ends_in_A_4" -- I've
specified instances where characters like "க்",ச்", "த்" and "ப்"
(essentially "suffixes") are added after the end of the first word. In rule
5 I am attempting to specify a condition where these characters should not
be added. People often confuse on when to add these suffixes, and when to
leave them out.
However, you make a good point about a spellchecker's complementary role in
this. I can't say for certain (at present) if there could be instances
where the wrong form here could be right elsewhere.
