Hi Daniel, Deleting languagetool.cfg from my home directory does not solve the problem.

A few minutes ago, I tried to test the server (http://wiki.languagetool.org/http-server), but some seconds after I typed the test URL (http://localhost:8081/?language=en&text=my+text), I received this timeout message: The connection has timed out. The server at localhost is taking too long to respond... Windows Task Manager tells me that PID 4552 is javaw.exe [=languagetool.jar]. Does deleting the config (".languagetool.cfg" in your home directory) help (please make a backup first)?
