Well, that is one alternative. IMHO, there's a simpler one: Moin 1.5 (we currently run 1.3.5, iirc) incorporates a full WYSIWYG editor so users can choose between Wiki-code or ToolBars very user friendly, especially to edit tables :D , users can continue editing on-site and on-line.
