Wouldn't it be better to move laptoptesting from the wiki to a simple
webbapplication with a database backend? Or can MoinMoin somehow
interoperate with databases?

Regards,

I've also found editing the huge tables in the wiki to be really tedious.
If they were kept in some sort of machine-readable format,
it would have the added benefit that they could be transformed into
the lastest prefered format without any manual conversion.
Also, since all of the fields are free-text, none of the pages are
in a very standard form. It might be a good idea to break each
entry into a strict set of values (bool -- pass/fail, launchpad bug#,
freetext comments, etc).
I'd love to see a nice web-based checklist that I could work though
while checking to see how the latest snapshot handles my laptop. (no
accidental updates of format/structure while I'm doing data entry)
