Hi, Adobe has publicly announced that they are preparing Proposals for the Apache Foundation: http://blogs.adobe.com/flex/2011/11/your-questions-about-flex.html
Quote:*What specifically is Adobe proposing?** * *We are preparing two proposals for incubating Flex SDK and BlazeDS at the Apache Software Foundation.* In the previous announcement they announced that they will use their own Foundation. Which potentially could lock-out 3th parties. If its an ASF project things are different. It might be worth (if Adobe's Proposal will be accepted) if the team of OpenLaszlo thinks about contributing to that project too. There is no barrier anymore to benefit from the wide acceptance of Flex. Once it is part of the ASF OpenLaszlo could profit from sharing the dev costs with others. Customers will not care about the battle between OL and Flex at all in the end but for OpenLaszlo it is a chance to get on the road again. But it is still an early stage, it seems like there has been no contact between Adobe and Apache Foundation yet and there is no statement yet how ASF will react on a potential Proposal.
