I will try to do that. In the meantime one more datapoint I neglected to
mention sicne I was not aware of, it tunr sout that it also matters on
which Flash runtime I then run the compiled swf.
When I compile it for swf8 and then run it on flash ver8 I get the non
crisp result. If I take this same file compiled for swf8 and run it on
flash7 it works and it looks crips (but the conext menu no longer
works). If I compile it for swf7 and then run it on either flash ver7 or
ver8 it looks crisp, but in both cases the context menu does not work.
Does this extra info help in any way?

A little. If you can get me the test case as a zip file that would be great.

The context menu stuff got broken a little bit, I'm about to check in
a revised API for it into the dev branch.

BTW, when running the swf compiled for swf8 in a flash 7 runtime the
HTML wrapper I took from the SOLO deployment wizard does not require me
to upgrade to flsh8 which probably also means that it did not detect the
version correctly or something like that. Maybe this is relevant since
if the HTML wrapper could not detect the version of the swf as flash 8,
maybe it was not compiled properly and therefore the half pixel fix was
not embodied in it for some reason?
